BLACK CANYON CLASSIC CAR CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The Black Canyon Classics Car Club (BCC) was organized on April 1996 and is a 501(C)7 not for profit organization that was formed by a group interested in street rods and classic vehicles. In 1999, the BCC established a scholarship program that awards student that are pursuing post-secondary education in the automotive trades industry. In 2021 it was decided that this award would be offered exclusively to students from Technical College of the Rockies (TCR) as they have a 2 year dedicated automotive program.
DMEA SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a student enrolled full time in any certificate program at TCR. Applicants must be a DMEA customer. Recipient must reside in Colorado and be a legal citizen or eligible noncitizen as verified through FAFSA.

MONTROSE ROTARY CLUB VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships will be given to students who live in Montrose planning on enrolling in or are already enrolled in a vocational school or technical college. Scholarship amounts will vary between $1000-$2000 each. Spring only.

AUTOMOTIVE ENTHUSIAST SCHOLARSHIP
This is a $6,000 total scholarship intended to fund the majority of tuition for the two-year, part time Auto Technology program at The Technical College of the Rockies. The scholarship will be paid in four $1,500 payments. Second semester payment will be paid after verification of enrollment for the 2nd semester of the Automotive Technology Program and a GPA of at least 2.50 from the 1st semester. Second year payment will be paid after enrollment in the second year Master Program and having a status as a student in good standing.

LENA SAMMONS REED MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to graduating seniors of Hotchkiss High School, renewing recipients of this scholarship, and past Hotchkiss High School graduates applying for the first time, including non-traditional students and students working on advanced degrees. ALL applicants must have attended Crawford Elementary School for two complete years prior to June 1, 2014 and must be graduates of Hotchkiss High School. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. These scholarships are renewable.

COLORADO OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP (COSI)
The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative seeks to couple tuition assistance and student supports to ensure that every Colorado student has affordable access to postsecondary opportunities, and can complete a degree or certificate necessary to enter their desired position in Colorado’s workforce.

LEITZINGER-HALLENBECK SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a student graduating from Hotchkiss High School, with a 3.0 GPA or better. This $500 scholarship is renewable.

NICK AND LINDA HATTEL SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to students graduating from Delta High School with a minimum GPA of 2.75, who have financial need and demonstrate good character and work ethic. Recipients should have a realistic plan for their careers and be able to articulate why they want to pursue an advanced degree or acquire a vocational training certificate. Students must attend an accredited secular university, college, or vocational program in the state of Colorado. This scholarship will provide two students with $2,000 each year.

RICHARD W. MCGUIRE JR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to students graduating from Delta County high schools with a preference given to graduates of Cedaredge High School. Must plan to study a field of natural science (biology, chemistry, botany, physics, medicine, nutrition, health, etc.) and attend a school in Colorado. These $1,000 scholarships are renewable.

DAVID MOORE SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to graduating seniors from Delta County high schools who have participated in vocal or instrumental music programs in their high school for at least three years, which must include their senior year. Up to four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. These scholarships are non-renewable.

KAY ARMSTRONG MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to students graduating from Delta County high schools who have been active in community service and have maintained a 3.0 GPA. One of the candidates chosen must be an aspiring teacher. These $1,000 scholarships are renewable.

Awarded to a student graduating from a Delta County high school who has a solid academic record, financial need and exemplifies good citizenship. This $500 scholarship is non-renewable.
