Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant is a 31 credit, 603 hour program designed to prepare students to work in a veterinary clinic. Students will be educated on a variety of lab and clinical skills including: veterinary medical terminology, large animal nursing, laboratory procedures, surgical nursing and care, office procedures and relations, and career development within the veterinary field. This is a two semester course.

This program is open to Post-Secondary and Concurrent students.

  • Veterinary Assistant is a two semester, 31 credit, 603 hour program

  • This program qualifies for Federal Aid (Pell, SEOG, Federal Work Study, etc…)

Admissions Requirements

The following items are required as part of the conditions of enrollment:

  • ID – A photo copy of your ID

  • Official Transcripts – Official transcripts sent directly to us from the school you attended

Students will also be required to attend an orientation to go over expectations and policies.
