This program does not qualify for Federal Financial Aid (Pell Grants, SEOG, Federal Work Study). However, grant and scholarship opportunities are available. Ask about these at orientation.

About the Program
The Phlebotomy program provides 116 hours of hybrid training across 5 credit hours, combining lab sessions on campus with a clinical internship. Content covers vascular anatomy, blood physiology, skin puncture techniques, venipuncture, specimen collection and handling, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
The program prepares individuals to draw blood samples under the supervision of physicians and healthcare professionals. Phlebotomists are in demand across hospitals, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and blood banks.

Eligibility
Who Can Enroll
Open to post-secondary students only. No prior healthcare experience is required. The program covers all foundational skills from the ground up.
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to sit for national phlebotomy certification examinations.
Graduates are prepared to sit for national phlebotomy certification exams, opening doors to clinical laboratory careers across Colorado and beyond.

A photocopy of your valid government-issued photo ID.
Proof of all required immunizations.
Completed through Complio.
Sent directly to TCR from the school you previously attended.
Required within 30 days of internship start. Cost is included in program fees; a voucher will be provided.
Mandatory attendance. Orientation also covers available scholarship and grant opportunities.
