Nail Technician

The Nail Technician program is a 1 semester, 20 credit, 506 hour program completed in one semester. The Nail technician Program at Technical College of the Rockies meets the state requirements for the Colorado State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists examination leading to state licensing. Students who complete this program will have the basic understanding and skills to do manicures, pedicures and work with artificial nails.

Program Information

The Nail Technician program is open in the Spring only to both Post-Secondary and Concurrent Students.

  • Nail Technician is a 20 credit, 506 hour program

  • Nail Technician is a 1 semester program
  • State examination is required for certification 

  • This program DOES NOT qualify for Federal Aid (Pell, SEOG, Federal Work Study, etc…)

Admissions Requirements

The following items are required as part of the conditions of enrollment:

  • ID – A photo copy of your ID

  • Official Transcripts – Official transcripts sent directly to us from the school you attended

Students will also be required to attend an orientation to go over expectations and policies.
