Maintenance & Light Repair

Maintenance and Light Repair is a 2 semester, 28 credit, 630 hour program. This course is designed to provide students with the experience necessary to be able to pass the G1 ASE certification Exam. Students will cover the basic areas of automotive repair including Brakes, Basic Auto Electricity, Electrical Safety, Ignition Systems, and Steering and Suspension. This course equips students for an entry level position into the auto industry.

This program is open to Concurrent and Post-Secondary students.

  • Maintenance & Light Repair is a 2 semester, 28 credit, 630 hour program

  • Individual ASE certificates will be awarded at the end of each program

  • ASE Testing on site

  • This program qualifies for Federal Aid (Pell, SEOG, Federal Work Study, etc…)

Admissions Requirements

The following items are required as part of the conditions of enrollment:

  • ID – A photo copy of your ID

  • Official Transcripts – Official transcripts sent directly to us from the school you attended

Students will also be required to attend an orientation to go over expectations and policies.
