Esthetician

The Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist is a 25 credit, 634 hour, 1 semester program. Students in this program specialize in the study of skin care. Students gain basic knowledge in beautifying the skin through: skin analysis, facials, pore cleansing, exfoliation treatments, skin care, makeup, hair removal, and waxing. Students also learn to recognize which skin concerns they are qualified to treat and those which require treatment by a medical professional.

Program Information

The Esthetician program is open to Post-Secondary students in Fall and Spring, and open to Concurrent students over the age of 18 in the Spring only.

  • Esthetician is a 25 credit, 634 hour program
  • Esthetician is a 1 semester program

  • State examination is required for certification 

  • This program qualifies for Federal Aid (Pell, SEOG, Federal Work Study, etc…)

  • Must Be 18 to attend this program

The following items are required as part of the conditions of enrollment:

Students will also be required to attend an orientation to go over policies and expectations.
