Electrocardiography (EKG) technicians apply, monitor, and measure electrocardiography testing and are vital members of any health care team.  Upon completion of this course you will be proficient in your ability to obtain vital signs, perform EKG testing, holter monitoring, and stress tests.  You will also study the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, cardiovascular diseases, and EKG analysis and interpretation. This is taught in an online class format with Saturday lab days.  Upon successful completion of this course you will be eligible to take the national Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam offered by American Allied Health.
