Automotive Service Technician

The Automotive Service Technician program is 2 semesters, 30 credits, and 675 hours. The Automotive Service Technician program is designed to train students in the area of automotive mechanics. Our program is offered half-day. Students receive hands-on live training in all aspects of automotive technologies. Topics include: Automatic Transmissions/Trans axles, Brakes, Electrical/ Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Heating and Air Conditioning, Manual Transmissions, Suspension and Steering.

Program Information

This program is open to Post-Secondary and Concurrent students.

  • Maintenance and Light Repair is a 2 semester, 30 credit, 630 hour program

  • Individual ASE certificates will be awarded at the end of each program

  • ASE Entry Level Testing on site

  • This program qualifies for Federal Aid (Pell, SEOG, Federal Work Study, etc…)

  • Must pass Maintenance & Light Repair as a prerequisite

Admissions Requirements

The following items are required as part of the conditions of enrollment:

  • ID – A photo copy of your ID

  • Official Transcripts – Official transcripts sent directly to us from the school you attended

Students will also be required to attend an orientation to go over expectations and policies.
