Who We Are
Technical College of the Rockies is a public, postsecondary career and technical education institution governed by the Delta County Joint School District #50J Board of Education. We serve students across six Western Colorado counties: Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel: providing accessible, affordable pathways to high-demand careers.
Our programs are funded through a combination of federal, state, and local sources and are nationally accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). All faculty hold credentials approved by the Colorado State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education, ensuring instruction meets both industry standards and state requirements.

Technical College of the Rockies is nationally accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE). This accreditation affirms that TCR meets rigorous standards for educational quality, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement. COE accreditation also enables our students to access federal financial aid.
